At The Amy Schulz Child Advocacy Center, we offer a variety of services and resources to help our child clients and their non-offending family members become best prepared for future steps and finding healing.
Our services are always free of charge to our clients - that includes referrals for third-party resources such as trauma-focused therapy, psychological exams, medical exams, etc.
Child & Family Advocacy
Our advocates work closely with the child clients and their non-offending family members to offer help, support, guidance, and comfort as they navigate the process of alleging, disclosing, prosecuting, and overcoming abuse. This advocacy lasts the entirety of the case - sometimes years.
Forensic Interviews
& Investigation Coordination
Our specially trained forensic interviewers partner with multi-disciplinary team members from law enforcement, child protection, and state's attorneys to conduct proper interviews to determine what the child has endured and to be used in the investigation process.
Prevention Education
Empowering children through prevention education is at the core of our mission. We offer prevention education programs to all schools within our coverage area to help students of all ages identify, interrupt, and/or prevent all types of abuse including sexual, physical, verbal, emotional, and neglect.
Criminal Court Support
& Resource Referrals
Many cases go through the prosecution process in hopes of securing justice for the victims. Our team is there every step of the way, attending trials and hearings while also referring clients for any additional services including therapy.
